Now that digital lifestyle devices, tablets, wireless phones and other internet appliances are beginning to come of age, we need to worry about presenting our content to these devices so that it is optimized for their display capabilities.

Wireless devices have made the life easier by many ways. They can be moved easily anywhere and support more users at the same time. With easy installation facility and no cost for cabling infrastructure, you just open the pack of new wireless device and it's ready to boom.
I think it poses no significance if I write much about the rocking advantages of wireless devices in our lives because every one of us know and accept their worth.
There is vast variety of marvelous devices, but here are some which made our life easier the most.

1. Wireless Headphones
A nomadic person will certainly pick his headphones first of all when packing the luggage for traveling because a journey without any headphones is a bore to death. And if there is a wireless headphone, he will wish for the journey to last for many hours. They may cost more than the traditional headphones but the freedom from tangled cables proves the cost fair. Wireless headphones also have a feature of blocking out the noisy environment.

2. Universal Remote Control
Another smart wireless device that connects to the home Wi-Fi, the universal remote control system is controlled by the free app. It can be used for any device which works on infrared signal like turning on/off TV, air condition. It can automatically turn devices on/off at a certain time.

3. Wireless ergonomic Mouse
A Bluetooth connected computer mouse having the capability of switching between more devices with left and right click swappable buttons, is another device making our life easier. Getting rid of the limited length cord is a striking experience.

4. MobileLite Wireless
No need to connect cables with mobile phones to transfer music, photos, videos and documents. MobileLite Wireless is a device which allows transferring data wirelessly from an SD memory card to a supported mobile device.

5. Wireless Speaker
If you love arranging parties with friends frequently, a good quality wireless speaker is the best choice for you to enjoy the freedom to move the speakers around without any cords. It has two parts, a receiver and a transmitter. The transmitter is connected to the audio output of audio device and the receiver boosts the audio. You can position the receiver where you want the sound to be without any long messy cables.

6. Remote Controlled Garage Door Opener
This motorized device that opens and closes remotely has made our life much easier. Like any other typical wireless device, it has a transmitter and a receiver. The owner transmits a signal of a specific frequency from remote control and the receiver activates the door opening mechanism.

7. Wireless Home Security
Another important benefit of wireless technology is the wireless home security system. You can keep an eye on what's going in and around your home with the help of a wireless camera. Without having the mess of cables, it can be mounted higher and further away as compared to the wired cameras easily.

8. Wireless Lights
Our homes can be illuminated with a smart way now with wireless light. The variety of wireless light experience as the security lights, motion spotlights, under cabinet lights or the ceiling lights, let you control them remotely from anywhere in the home with adjustable brightness and colors.

9. Mobile Phones
If someone asks me about the most imperative and major contribution of wireless technology, I would say at once, "The Cell Phone". Used to communicate over long distances without wires, this magical device has made our lives the most trouble free and easy. Remember the time when we used to have a telephone set in our homes and offices, which cannot be carried with us while we were out of station, and when we were hit by a mishap or an immediate chore... We had to wait for a PCO to come by the way, and used to open a telephone diary for dialing the number. Ohh!... That hectic way to call someone. Thanks to the wireless technology that we have the telephone set, the telephone diary and many more in our pockets today. The tablets, the iPhones, the personal digital assistants (PDAs) all the wireless devices are the glory of wireless technology.

Wireless Router Tips
By John McNamara  |  Submitted On February 12, 2013

Just about all of us have a wireless product at home and some of you have 5 or more. We have laptops, video games systems like the Xbox, and TV streamers like the Roku box. Throw in an iPod video player, an iPad or two, and smart phones that can use the wireless and suddenly you realize just how much you depend on wireless in your home. Let's see if I can help you understand how wireless works and show you how to get better speeds out of your wireless router.
First, let's talk about how wireless works:
Wireless networks use a technique called "Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Avoidance" or CSMA/CA for short. It sounds complicated, it simply means in order to avoid collisions, each device is given a timeshare when they want to "talk". If you have 4 devices all talking, each gets roughly 25% of the available bandwidth to communicate. This drops your actual speed down considerably. The speed shown on your laptop is the top speed possible given the available signal strength and assuming that the laptop is the only machine using the wireless. Sadly, most of the time you are NOT the only person using it.

Tip #1, to increase your actual speed, disconnect or turn off devices that are not being used. Take for instance the Xbox360. If you son leaves it on, it still talks to the Microsoft Live server and if your son is logged in, it continuously queries the server to see if any of his friends are playing. While things like this do not eat up a lot of your bandwidth, having several devices doing this can make a noticeable difference.
Now let's discuss the language of your wireless network:
The wireless router can speak several different "languages" which are referred to as protocols. Today's wireless routers speak either "G" or "N" protocol. The "G" protocol is the oldest one at a bit over ten years old. It was great in its day and gave us the best of both worlds from the existing protocols of the time (A and B). Sadly it really doesn't give us very good speed for today's demanding applications like YouTube video. The speed of the "G" protocol is, at best, 54Mbps and that is about half the speed of your wired connection. The newest protocol "N" gives us at least double that speed and many times even more. The "N" protocol is also backwards compatible with "G" so if you have a laptop running "G" you can still use a wireless router running "N". (In other words, if you have a "G" laptop, you do NOT have to have a "G" wireless router.

Tip #2, to get a stronger signal which can also mean more speed, change your home wireless router to a new one with the "N" protocol. The better range will help out your "G" devices and any "N" devices you have will love the new higher speeds they can get. The XBox360 ships with the "N" protocol and most Roku boxes are available in the "N" protocol version.
Finally, let's talk about signal strength:
The way wireless works, the weaker your wireless signal, the slower your data speed. Standing right next to the wireless router, you may get a max speed of 54Mbps running the "G" protocol but if you move to the other side of the house and you might only get 11 Mbps. This stronger signal is why the superior range of the "N" protocol will give you faster speeds. This can also be adjusted by the placement of the wireless router. (see Tip 3 below for a further explanation)

Tip #3, if you move the device closer to the wireless router, or the wireless router closer to the device, you should get improved speed. Sometimes this may not possible (depending on the layout of your house and the place where your cable wire comes into your house) but there is an alternative that can be helpful: use aluminum foil to redirect the unused part of the signal towards your device. You can find a video on how to do this at my wireless page in the link below.
I hope this helps you to get more out of your wireless devices. For more wireless router information, stop by my Best Wireless Router page. There is a video there about how to use the aluminum foil trick I mentioned and lots of other information. I also have a. Tips to Consider When Buying Your First Bluetooth Earphone
By Arthur Huang  |  Submitted On October 14, 2019
Bluetooth headphone are wireless headphones that are quite common these days. This technology is used in numerous devices that we use these days, such as portable speakers, laptops, and smartphones, just to name a few. Given below are some tips that you should consider when investing in your first Bluetooth-based earphones or headphones.
Usage
If you are going to use this unit in a noisy environment, make sure you opt for a unit that comes with wind reducing and noise cancelling feature. it should have a mic in front of it. Similarly, if you want to listen to your favorite music while walking around, you should buy a unit that feature an ear hook.
Battery Life
You need to choose a product that comes with a battery that offers a longer backup time. So, it's much better to ask about the backup time before you place your order. Ideally, your device should give you at least hours of talk time before it requires to be charged once again.
Sound Quality
A mono headset is designed for one ear as it won't provide sound for both of your ear. The sound quality of these devices is acceptable and they are ideal for making calls and doing other primary functions.
Stereo headphones, on the other hand, are much better if you want to listen to your favorite music.
Multiple Pairing
A headset with multiple pairing can be connected to a lot of devices like your phone, tablet and laptop at the same time.
Voice Command
Nowadays, headsets with the voice command feature are quite popular. With this feature, you can send voice commands to pair your device, receive calls or check the battery status. This will make it easier for your to use your headset.
Comfort
Comfort should be the most important factor that you should consider when buying Bluetooth headphones. For better fit, some earphones come with a head strap, while others provide a clip that goes around your ear. In the same way, some earphones feature ear buds as well.
Mic
If you want to purchase a unit to make calls, make sure you consider the sound quality first. You can make a call to your friend to find out if the sound quality is good. The conversation should be clear with no disturbance from any side.
Range
If you move around a lot and don't want to use your phone, you can buy a unit that has longer range. The majority of headphones have a range of as long as 33 feet. After this range, the sound quality tends to drop. You can also buy headsets that have a range of up to 300 feet.
Budget
If you can spend a bit more money, you can get a unit that can offer the highest sound quality. If budget is not a problem for you, you can buy this type of unit.
So, these are some important factors that you may want to consider when buying a Bluetooth earphone.
