Many people believe that the cb radio or 11 meter band is dead. I believe it's quite the opposite. Just take a look at reviews on places like Amazon and Ebay. Yes they don't make as many cb base station radios as they used to. So take a mobile cb radio, add a power supply, power microphone, base antenna and a good swr meter and your all set to go. Mobile cb radio does make an excellent way of finding what's going on up ahead while you are traveling. It's also an excellent starter point in radio communication and then enter the Ham Radio Hobby.

In today's world of CB Radio you just don't see that many cb base radios like back in the 70s and 80s. Well you can select the Galaxy Base Radio above or use a mobile cb radio as a base station.
